New Beginnings After Sinhala & Hindu New Year

After the joyous celebrations of the Sinhala & Hindu New Year, the Trading Root team stepped into the working year on April 21st, 2025, with hearts full of gratitude and hope. To mark this meaningful transition, we held a serene and spiritual Pirith Pinkama at our office premises, invoking blessings for a peaceful, successful, and prosperous year ahead.

The Pirith chanting, conducted by a group of venerable Buddhist monks, created a calm and sacred atmosphere — reminding us of the deeper values of unity, mindfulness, and spiritual strength that guide us not only in our personal lives but also in our professional journey. The entire Trading Root  family gathered in traditional attire, offering flowers and lighting oil lamps to invoke blessings for the well-being of our team, our customers, and the company’s future.

This meaningful tradition at Trading Root is more than a ceremony — it’s a moment to reflect, reconnect, and step into the New Year with clarity and purpose. It symbolizes the harmony within our team and the strength we draw from our culture and values.
